Session Description

Transit has a long tradition of using ITS to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the services it offers its customers. But new technological developments such as connected vehicles are creating new opportunities that have only just begun to be explored and understood. This session will discuss some of these emerging technical innovations and current projects related to Transit ITS, and in particular to transit and the Connected Vehicle environment.
