Session Description

*Separate registration required The ITS JPO Professional Capacity Building Program will present a workshop on the ITS Standards Training series. The workshop will include excerpts from the first three training modules: • I101: Using ITS Standards: An Overview • A101: Introduction to Acquiring Standards-based ITS Systems • A102: Introduction to User Needs Identification Participants will also gain exposure to the additional 15 modules currently available for them to pursue online. These modules cover practical applications for acquiring and testing standards based ITS systems. The modules are tailored to address systems designed using the Systems Engineering Process (SEP) and those designed without using the SEP. Training will include hands-on exercises to support participants’ understanding of concepts. The workshop will inform participants of 19 new modules currently under development and the opportunities for future training, including individual online learning or the possibility of grouping modules together to provide a blended learning experience with an instructor.
