Description of Paper:
To use Vehicle-Infrastructure cooperative system in a wide range of area, Toyota has begun to develop two of the driving support systems. One is the system to reduce the cases of late start after waiting at a red signal. The other is the system to reduce the cases of rapid deceleration due to changing to red signal at near an intersection. To realize these systems, we have begun to develop HMI, which effectively inform “Remaining time of traffic signal”, and examined with test vehicles. In this paper, the results of those examinations were reported.
