EOBRs will gradually be mandated in all Commercial Vehicles subject to Hours Of Service in order to reduce the accidents linked to driver fatigue and to level the playing field. What are the challenges facing the regulators, the industry and the enforcement in the change from voluntary to mandated HOS electronic logging?What will be the necessary evolution of EOBRs so that electronic HOS logging can be reliable and efficient to improve HOS enforcement?
